Today is the day of the commemoration of the recovery of the Holy Cross – the cross that Jesus died on. The cross was found by St Helena and placed on Mt Calvary and preserved in Jerusalem.
Today’s Catholic feast day is called “Triumph of the Cross”.
According to the liturgy, to follow Christ, we must take up His cross and walk with Him. Carrying the cross is synonymous to suffering. I think most of us are suffering now, but not our evil leaders and their puppet masters, who are playing god.
People ask why God allows suffering in our lives. Well, I think Jesus suffered on the cross, died and went to heaven. So perhaps while we suffer and follow Jesus, and repent for our sins, he will help us get to heaven eventually. He will help free us from the pain and suffering of the world. Perhaps our evil leaders and their puppet masters, who now play god, will one day go to hell, as they do not seem to follow Jesus or believe in a faith.
These days I can’t help thinking that I am living in hell with all the evil and suffering that is going on around me. Whoever you pray to, believe that one day we will be in a better place. I believe that one day I will be going to heavenly paradise. Have faith.
