Take time out today to chill and relax, contemplate the past week, meditate and connect with the divine, the universe, or God.
There will be a full moon today at 1.02 pm UK summer time. It is called the Sturgeon moon because it is a full moon that occurs in the month of August. During the month of August, there is an abundance of the big fish sturgeon and they are usually caught at this time. It is also the last full moon of the summer.
It is also called the Blue moon. There are usually 3 full moons in a season. But in summer 2021 there are 4 full moons and the 4th full moon of the season is known as the Blue moon. The full moons in summer 2021 occurred on 26th May (flower moon), 24th June (Strawberry moon), 24th July (Buck Moon), 22nd August (Sturgeon Moon).
It may well be a good time to sit in contemplation or meditation with the full moon and review the past 8 months of the year.
Whatever you choose today, have a happy Sunday.
